Director

A native of Keta in the Volta region, Agbeko or 'Agbe' Desouza is the last remaining founding member of A.D.E along with Mawutor (formed in 1991). Taking over as director in 2006 after Mawutors passing, his dedication and passion for traditional music and dance began back in Junior High School. Agbe is also an experienced tailor.

Originally from Anloga in the Volta region, Nana began his long career in traditional music and dance as an acrobatic dancer, then switching to drumming under the advice of Mawutor Akpobi. Nana joined A.D.E. in 1995.

Also hailing from Keta in the Volta region, Jimmy has been involved in traditional music and dance from a very young age, participating in his grandmothers Habobo singing group from the age of six. Joining A.D.E. in  , Jimmy has become the senior dance instructor. In addition, he also an incredibly talented artist (drawing, painting, you name it).

A native of Havi in the Volta region, Junior is also one of the more senior members, having joined A.D.E. in 2000  . In addition to dancing, Junior is also a very talented artist, specializing in tailoring, beadwork, drum and shoe making, and painting.

Mariama hails from Bolgatanga in the Upper east Region of Ghana, now living in Accra and dancing with A.D.E since  .

Younger brother of Thomas 'Nana' Banini, Gameli and Nana come from a long lineage of musicians in the family. Gameli has been drumming with A.D.E. since .

Dancing with A.D.E. since 2012, Charlotte has been living in Accra most of her life. Charlotte also helps sew most of Africana's colorful costumes, showcased during special events and programs.

Originally from Torve-Akatsi in the Volta region, Kingdom has been drumming and dancing with A.D.E. since . He continues to teach traditional music and dance to local and international schools throughout Accra, and is a skilled beadworker and slipper maker.

An A.D.E. member since 2012, Abigail's roots lie in the Volta region of Ghana, however she's lived most of her life in Accra. Abigail sews many of Africana's program costumes.

A native of Abor in the Volta region of Ghana, Dennis has lived most of his life in the Mamobi area of Accra. Joining A.D.E in 2013, Dennis  began performing traditional music as a dancer, and has been learning drumming. Dennis's favorite dance is Bima.

Living most of her life in Accra , Gifty has been dancing with A.D.E. since 2013.

Born in Gobleduqi in the Volta region, Komi has been drumming with A.D.E since  . Komi maintains his profession as a carpenter.

With family roots in Togo, Joseph has been dancing with A.D.E. since . Besides dancing, Joseph is a skilled beadworker, making bracelets, necklaces and rings.
